Gender equality. Which EU country has the best growth performance? Italy!

Based on the latest report of the Gender Equality Index 2020, published by EIGE, it is possible to monitor the progress in the field of gender equality in the EU. In fact, the index measures gender equality using a scale from zero to 100 points, where the maximum score means perfect equality, on the 5 sub-categories relating to equality on: work, economic resources, education, power and health. Italy recorded a score of 63.5 and ranks 14th, gaining eight positions over the last decade, thus recording the best growth performance in the EU.
